Chiho's Studio Philosophy

Founded by artist Chiho, our studio fosters genuine artistic autonomy. We guide students through observational drawing and tactile exploration, respecting each learner's unique creative voice.

With a background in fine arts, Chiho teaches technical skills that empower children and adults to translate their observations into expressive, self-directed works of art.

Artistic Autonomy

Our Brooklyn studio features expansive windows that flood the tables with soft, diffused natural daylight, perfect for observational drawing.

We work with professional-grade media, including wet clay, charcoal, and heavy-weight paper, encouraging tactile exploration.

Every lesson introduces historical techniques while leaving the final execution entirely to the student's creative courage.
